Philander Smith University & MRC Explore Grant Collaboration with Truth Initiative
In an exciting development, the MRC has initiated a partnership discussion with Philander Smith University to pursue funding through the Truth Initiative. This collaboration could help amplify tobacco cessation messaging and programming on HBCU campuses. In addition, a new research collaboration with GASP is underway to examine the growth of vape shops in Pine Bluff, supporting efforts to reduce tobacco-related disparities in urban Arkansas communities.
